Biography

Liam P. Stokes joined the firm as an associate in 2024.  Liam has previously litigated civil and criminal matters  prior to joining the firm.  His prior role as deputy prosecutor allowed him to establish himself as an aggressive and successful litigator. Liam has extensive courtroom experience, having mediated and tried numerous jury trials throughout the state.

Liam is an Idaho native, and prior to his legal endeavors attended and graduated from Gonzaga University. At that time, Liam served as a legislative advisor, where he collaborated with various state agencies and legislative members to effectuate policy changes. Such included testifying before House and Senate committees on all types of proposed legislation. He subsequently attended law school at the University of Idaho.

After law school, Liam joined the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office as a deputy prosecutor and then went on to continue his practice before joining Powers Farley in the fall of 2024.  Liam has shown a passion and determination in fighting for his clients.

When not at the desk, or in the courtroom, Liam enjoys golfing, traveling, hunting and spending time with his wife, Natalie and son.
