Don Farley prevailed on an appeal to the Supreme Court after the district court dismissed a European manufacturer in a products liability case brought by an Idaho resident. The resident successfully argued that Idaho Court’s had jurisdiction over the foreign manufacturer because the manufacturer caused a vast amount of its products to be purchased in Idaho. Accordingly, the Supreme Court reversed the dismissal of the manufacturer and allowed the residence’s case to proceed in Idaho district court.
